East Kolaka Regent Denies Arrested By KPK

East Kolaka Regent, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Abdul Azis denied that he was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the Hand Catch Operation (OTT).

"Alhamdulillah, today I was beside Ahmad Syahroni's brother in good condition and ready to attend the NasDem National Working Meeting," he told reporters at the arena ahead of the NasDem National Working Meeting at the Claro Hotel Makassar, South Sulawesi, Thursday, August 7.

He explained that at first he did not know the information, and only heard and saw 3 hours of news information after the news was widely discussed, even though he was already in Makassar City, South Sulawesi.

"I just received news related to the OTT issue. Indirectly, family, friends, many are concerned, is it true that the East Kolaka Regent (Abdul Azis) in OTT contacted me," he explained.

According to him, with the investigation process at the KPK, as a NasDem cadre, he obeys and obeys the law if anything related becomes a legal process.

"But, related to this drama or adambing, we personally and our families do not accept it. Because psychologically it is extraordinary that we are disturbed," he said.
