JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung targets 75 percent of DKI Jakarta's regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) to be able to provide dividends to the DKI Provincial Government as shareholders every year.
It is known that the DKI Provincial Government has 14 BUMDs, including PT Transjakarta, PT MRT Jakarta, PT Jakarta Propertindo, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Bank Jakarta, Perumda PAM Jaya.
Then, Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Perumda Pasar Jaya, Perumda Paljaya, PT Jakarta Tourisindo, PT Jamkrida Jakarta, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, and PT JIEP Pulogadung.
"I hope that more than 75 percent of the BUMD can provide dividends as expected by the Jakarta government," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, August 7.

Pramono admitted that more than half of the total BUMDs had recorded positive company financial books. However, he did not deny that there were still BUMDs who always lost money.
The BUMD, which recorded the loss, according to Pramono, was caused by the many assignments given by the DKI Provincial Government and have been running for years.
"Indeed, there are several big BUMDs because of the assignment. And yesterday we had a special meeting about BUMD, so we will start reducing assignments like this," said Pramono.
Pramono gave an example, one of the biggest burdens of BUMD which resulted in losses is asset management which requires large operating costs every year.
"The problem is that if their assets are held by them, they become negative. If they are held by Jakarta, they can be positive," he explained.
In order to make regional companies healthier, Pramono plans to release the burden of managing these assets from BUMD.
"So, we are regulating something like this so that there are no mistakes or wrong books," added Pramono.
