Megawati Orders PDIP Cadres To Support Prabowo's Government

PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri ordered her cadres to support Prabowo Subianto's government.

PDIP DPP chairman Deddy Yevri Sitorus said the support given was for positive efforts made by the government in protecting the country, nation and people, so that they could go through conditions that were not yet good at this time.

"While also ensuring that we have quite a lot of ideas in order to maintain and support the government so that it really exists on the tracks that should be," said Deddy in the Nusa Dua area, Badung, Bali, Thursday, July 31.

Deddy said efforts that need to be supported include overcoming very unstable fiscal conditions, reduced state income, challenges in paying foreign debt, to geopolitical challenges, the global economy.

Megawati continued, Deddy wanted the party bearing the bull head to remain organizationalally solid with the same frequency.

Therefore, Megawati asked her cadres to go to the community to find out pure problems experienced by the community.

According to Deddy, Megawati always advised political parties to be the main pillar of the government. On the basis of existing laws, he said that political parties must be solid to play a good role.

"Of course we as parties, especially members of our legislature, as part of this country, must certainly think about uniting frequencies. In addition, we also use that opportunity to find new innovations," said the member of Commission II of the DPR.
