Family Hopes That The Police Will Be More Careful And Professional In Expressing The Death Of The Young Diplomat Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Arya Daru

JAKARTA - The family of young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan hopes that the police will investigate this case carefully, thoroughly and professionally.

"We hope that every fact that exists can really be examined carefully and openly," said the representative of the Arya Daru Pangayunan extended family, Meta Bagus, ANTARA, Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Meta Bagus, who is also Arya Daru's brother-in-law, hopes that all input from the family, including things that family experiences and knows directly, can be considered.

"No less important, we believe this process will be carried out with full responsibility and integrity by the authorities," he said.

For the family, Arya Daru is not only a diplomat or state apparatus, but also a son, husband, older brother, sister and loved friend.

"During his lifetime, he was known as a dedicated person and had high concern for others," said Meta Bagus.

He also realized that this incident caught the public's attention because it was as a family, wanting to accompany this process in a good, open and respectful way.

"We also invite media friends and the wider community to participate in overseeing the process with empathy, balanced information and an objective attitude," said Meta Bagus.

Meta Bagus also said that the support of all parties is very meaningful, not only for the family, but also as part of a society that believes that justice is shared.

"We believe, in due course, the truth will be revealed clearly and bring justice and peace to Daru, as well as for those of us who have been left behind," he said.

Previously, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police concluded that the death of a young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan (ADP) without the involvement of other people.

"The indicator of death in this ADP died without the involvement of other parties," said Director of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Wira Satya Triputra during a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday (30/7).

Wira also added that the conclusion was based on the results of an investigation conducted by investigators involving several experts.

"Investigators have also concluded that no criminal incidents have been found against the victim," he said.
