Peru, Ecuador And China Issue Tsunami Early Warning After The Russian Earthquake

JAKARTA - Peru, Ecuador to China issued a tsunami early warning on Wednesday, July 30 at 11.10 local time.

Citing AFP, this natural disaster warning follows an 8.7 magnitude (M) earthquake that hit eastern Russia on Wednesday this morning.

For Ecuador, the warning of the impact of this Russian earthquake applies to the Galapagos Islands. In the area, the local government is currently carrying out the prevention evacuation process.

Both Peru and Ecuador are located on the west coast of South America. The distance is about 13,000 km from the point of the 8.7 M earthquake that rocked the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia.

Meanwhile, authorities in parts of China have issued an early warning of the dangers of the devastating effects of the Russian earthquake. The tsunami wave is expected to hit parts of eastern China.
