Police Investigate Robbery At Puri Anjasmoro Housing Housing Semarang

Semarang - Semarang Police are investigating a house robbery case at the Puri Anjasmoro luxury housing complex, Semarang City, Central Java.

West Semarang Police Chief Kompol Andre Bachtiar confirmed the robbery incident at the house which is located at Puri Anjasmoro Housing Block E1/5 on Monday (28/7) at midnight that night.

According to him, the occupants of the house were threatened by robbers, which were estimated to be two people.

He explained that the robbery incident was first discovered by the owner of the house who had just returned home

"The victim saw that the window of one of the rooms was open," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 29.

When they entered the house, it turned out that the two perpetrators were still inside.

The two perpetrators then threatened the victim by using a screwdriver and also threatened to hurt him if he resisted.

The perpetrator who had torn apart the contents of the house took away some gold jewelry and watches.

In addition, the perpetrators also took away the CCTV recording device in the house.

Andre said there were no fatalities in the unfortunate incident.

"Currently, the handling of the case is taken over by the Semarang Police," he said.
