If They Are Absent Again, 2 Suspects Of Corruption KUR Bank Pelat Merah Bima Will Be Called Forcibly

JAKARTA - At least two suspects in the alleged corruption case of people's business credit funds (KUR) at one of the conventional banks belonging to the Bima branch, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), are in danger of being forcibly picked up by police investigators.

Head of the Corruption Unit of the Bima City Police, Ipda Eka Rahman, said that the forced pick-up which was part of the legal effort saw the status of the two suspects who had been recorded twice absent from the summons for examination.

"If according to the SOP, twice absent, a warrant will be issued," he said via a short message from the WhatsApp application in Mataram, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

For the opportunity for detention for the forced pick-up follow-up, Eka stated that this must wait for the results of the examination and the decision of the Head of the Bima City Police Satreskrim AKP Dwi Kurniawan Putra.

"Detention will be in accordance with the leadership's direction," he said.

The two suspects who were absent in the second summons had the initials EH and SR. Both act as collection agents (CA) or third parties in charge of collecting customer candidate data.

In this case, the police named nine suspects. Three people from the banking sector with the initials MA as the former head of the banking branch, the deputy head of the banking branch with the initials D, and the head of credit with the initials IM.

Furthermore, six suspects acted as CA with the initials EH, I, IS, MI, SR, and one of them was listed as a former member of the Bima Regency DPRD with the initials D.

In this case, the suspects are suspected of being involved in an evil conspiracy in the distribution of KUR funds in 2019-2020.

From the indications of corruption that emerged, investigators have pocketed the results of the audit by the NTB Representative BPKP with a state financial loss of Rp39 billion from the total recipients of KUR funds of 1,634 people.

The indications of the loss arise from cutting the value of KUR which is distributed in the form of agricultural facilities in the form of fertilizers, agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan).
