The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTB) examined two Deputy Chairmen of the NTB DPRD, Lalu Wirajaya and Yek Agil Al Haddar, regarding allegations of corruption in the submission and management of basic thought funds (pokir) for the 2025 fiscal year.
Both were examined by the special criminal team (pidsus) of the NTB Prosecutor's Office in Mataram, Friday, July 25 as part of the investigation stage.
"Yes, that's right. Both of them were questioned by the Pidsus team," said NTB Attorney General Efrien Saputera to reporters quoted from Antara.
The examination took place since 09.00 WITA and ended at around 11.00 WITA. Without legal assistance, the two politicians left the NTB Prosecutor's Office building and confirmed their presence in response to the prosecutor's summons.
"What was asked was about the viral stealth funds," said Yek Agil, a politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).
He said, during the examination, the prosecutor asked dozens of questions but did not ask for supporting documents.
"For documents, nothing," he added.
Meanwhile, Lalu Wirajaya from the Gerindra Party stated that their presence was a form of cooperation in the legal process.
"We came to appreciate the ongoing legal process," he said briefly.
However, he refused to provide further response regarding the alleged flow of stealth funds to a number of members of the NTB DPRD.
"Regarding stealth funds, later let the investigators explain," he said.
