The Perpetrator Of The Balita Obscenity In Makassar, East Jakarta, Had A Chance When The Victim's Grandmother Banged On The Door Of The Perpetrator's House

JAKARTA - A girl with the initials A (4) who became a victim of harassment by her neighbor with the initials O (50) in the Kampung area, Makasar, East Jakarta, is still experiencing trauma.

According to F (50), the victim's grandmother, the incident occurred on Saturday, July 19, 2025. F learned of the alleged abuse when he wanted to pick up his grandson who was playing in the park around the house.

F said, at that time A was playing with his cousin and neighbor's child, but when it was time to go home, A never came home. He saw his cousin and neighbor's child standing in front of the alleged perpetrator's house.

"At that time, I saw my cousin and neighbor's child in front of the perpetrator's house, I immediately asked, 'A, where are you not playing' they answered, in Uncle O's house," F told reporters, Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Hearing this, F immediately panicked and went to O's house. He knocked on the door of the locked house.

"I immediately pushed the door, then banged and banged it didn't come out for a long time, that's why I had an emotional feeling that I didn't feel good, because the door was locked," he said.

F admitted that his mind was immediately worried because his grandson was alone in the house with an adult man.

"After screaming, finally my grandson came out, it was O while saying 'Come on, that's it, Grandma'," he said.

After the incident, F immediately reprimanded O and forbade him to bring his grandson into his house.

"I said, 'please, my grandson, don't let you go into your house' but at that time he was angry, 'What do you mean F'," he said.

F admitted that he was accused of slander by the alleged perpetrator because there was no clear evidence of the alleged abuse.

"I said, what are you, my grandson? Then he answered 'You're slander, huh, F, I can call the police', but I'm not afraid," he said.

F then reported the incident to the local RT and RW administrators for follow-up. Then local residents found out about the incident, causing the residents' anger towards perpetrator O.

Currently, perpetrator O has been arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit for detention. The perpetrator is already in the detention cell of the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit.
