JAKARTA - The perpetrator of sexual abuse of toddlers in the Makasar sub-district, East Jakarta, was finally arrested by members of the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit. The perpetrator was arrested after being fugitive.

"The perpetrator had disappeared somewhere, five days (on). That night (the perpetrator) was taken to the Resort Police secretly to avoid playing with public judges because he was already emotional," said the victim's grandfather, M (60) to reporters, Thursday, July 24, 2025.

The perpetrator was arrested after being provoked by the Police who had met his family first.

"His family was warned by the police. If he runs away, his family must be responsible for the police. From the Resort Police, he said he was fishing so that the perpetrators would come home, the perpetrators finally gave up," he said.

Meanwhile, when they heard that the perpetrator had been arrested by the police, residents around the location were furious again. Residents want to teach a lesson to the perpetrator who has the heart to molest the toddler's child.

"After hearing that he had been arrested, he was taken to the Resort Police, the children here (the neighbors of the victims) immediately came to the Resort Police. Residents were emotional, screaming," he said.

As previously reported, a toddler became a victim of sexual harassment by a neighbor of his own in the Makasar area, East Jakarta. The incident was caught on an amateur camera and uploaded by the @infopinangranti account.

The perpetrator's mode is to invite victims who are playing under the toll road along with other children.

Then the victims were invited into the perpetrator's house unit. This act of harassment was only revealed when the victim's grandmother was looking for the whereabouts of her grandson.
