JAKARTA - The case of the death of the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Ary Daru Pangayunan has not been revealed until now. In an effort to reveal the cause of death, the police had communicated with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polkam).

"Then the audience was also conducted by investigators with parties from the Ministry of Politics and Security," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Thursday, July 24.

However, it was not explained in detail about the timing of the implementation or the results of the hearing with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

In fact, Ade was reluctant to comment further when asked about the hearing related to the background of Ary Daru Pangayunan, including the issue of having handled cases of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO).

It was only emphasized in the hearing process that investigators conveyed the steps taken in an effort to uncover the case.

"(Audience) related to the events of the processes carried out by the Polda Metro Jaya in the disclosure of this incident in general like that," he said.

Apart from that, Ade emphasized that the police, in this case Polda Metro Jaya, will continue to thoroughly investigate the case. Of course, by prioritizing scientific crime investigation.

"So once again, investigators are still working and we remain committed to uncovering this case clearly, transparently, as a form of commitment from Polda Metro Jaya to carry out duties professionally and proportionally," said Ade.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was in a condition of his face wrapped in yellow duct tape. Currently, the cause of death is not yet known.
