Prabowo Invites The Community To Welcome The 80th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia With Commemoration And Joy

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto invites the entire community to welcome and enliven the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence with great enthusiasm, joy, and togetherness.

"I invite all Indonesian people to welcome and enliven Indonesia's 80th Anniversary with great enthusiasm, with joy and togetherness," Prabowo said at the launch of the logo and theme of the Indonesian 80th Anniversary at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 23, as reported by ANTARA.

The President conveyed that the celebration of eight decades of national independence was a momentum to strengthen brotherhood in diversity.

Prabowo emphasized the importance of making this commemoration a place of togetherness, without distinguishing the backgrounds and differences that exist in society.

"We can be different, we can compete, but we are brothers, we are Indonesian children," he said.

As part of enlivening the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the President invited the public to fly the Red and White flag at home, schools, offices, and other public spaces.

The Head of State also encouraged the public to celebrate independence through various positive activities, such as mutual cooperation, competitions, cultural arts performances, and social activities targeting groups of people in need.

The President stated that the commemoration of independence day should not only focus on ceremonies, but also be realized through concrete actions that have direct impacts, such as maintaining environmental cleanliness and beautifying public spaces.

According to him, independence must be reflected in the face of a nation that is clean, orderly, and proud.

"No one else will respect us if we do not respect ourselves and our own environment. With the spirit of 80 years of independence in Indonesia, let us steadfastly move forward, build a better future for all Indonesian people," said the President.

The President also expressed his optimism for Indonesia's future.

Prabowo said this nation has a great opportunity to become a developed and strong country, in line with the spirit of struggle inherited by the nation's founders.

"As the President of the Republic of Indonesia who is elected by the people, I say that our future is bright, we will rise to become a developed country, we will rise to become a great country in line with great enthusiasm," he concluded.

The logo and theme for the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia have been launched by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, accompanied by an official link.

The logo with the design of the 80' figure by Bram Patria Yoshugi from the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI) was directly selected by President Prabowo from five design options that were included in theshortlist of competition selection results.
