"The activity of the hiking trail on Mount Semeru is completely closed from Sunday (17/8) to Tuesday (26/8). Climbing activities will reopen on August 27, 2025," said Head of TNBTS Center Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 16.
The decision regarding the closure of the Mount Semeru climbing route has also been officially announced by the TNBTS Center through the Announcement Letter Number PG.11/T.8/TU/HMS.01.08/B/07/2025 which was issued today.
