According to two of the three sources, Europe now plans to interact with Iran in the coming days and weeks with the message that Tehran can avoid "snapback" sanctions if it takes steps to convince the world of its nuclear program, including continuing monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
One source said another similar step was the withdrawal of about 400 kilograms of enriched uranium to 60 percent purity from Iran stored in those locations.
The 2015 agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was signed by Iran and five permanent members of the UN Security Council -- China, France, Russia, Britain, and the US -- added Germany.
The agreement limits Iran's enriched uranium reserves to 202.8 kilograms at low enrichment levels.
