The Maluku Regional Police through the Propam Internal Security Sub-Division (Paminal) are still investigating allegations of disciplinary violations and code of ethics involving members of the Baguala Police, Bripka MMM.
Until now, investigators have not found sufficient evidence related to reports of alleged adultery and drug abuse of methamphetamine types carried out within the Baguala Police Headquarters.
"For now, there is not enough evidence regarding reports of alleged adultery or drug use, but the Paminal Subbid will continue to develop the case," said Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Police, Kombes Rositah Umasugi in Ambon, Antara, Tuesday, July 15.
The report against Bripka MMM was submitted by a person with the initials RGA through a attorney from Law Office Mira R. M and Partners. The report was received on July 10, 2025 and began to follow up on Monday with an initial examination by the Paminal team.
During the examination, Paminal had asked for information from the complainant and several witnesses, including AP, who were said to have been involved. However, according to Rositah, AP actually intends to report back to the complainant on suspicion of abuse for being forced to admit the alleged act.
On the other hand, Bripka MMM and their attorneys are said to be reporting allegations of defamation to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) today.
"Today, the plan is that the Reported Party and their lawyers will make a defamation report," said Rositah.
The Maluku Regional Police emphasized that they would continue to process this case objectively and transparently, and would continue to handle it if new evidence was found in the future.
