The West Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) deployed 165 personnel to attract people with social welfare problems (PMKS) circulating in the area.

"They were deployed to PMKS vulnerable points in eight sub-districts," said Head of the West Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Kasat Pol PP) Agus Irwanto, Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

He gave an example, the vulnerable points include Pesing, Tambora, Daan Mogot, Cengkareng.

"The point is that the intersections that are densely populated or vehicles tend to have conditions that are very vulnerable to PMKS," he said.

PMKS network, said Agus, was carried out following public complaints related to PMKS type "Pak Ogah" or illegal parking attendants.

"Many reports from the public often come to us, namely related to Pak Ogah. Especially in areas bordering Tangerang or North Jakarta," said Agus.

In addition to responding to residents' complaints, PMKS screening was also carried out in the context of enforcing the DKI Jakarta Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2007 concerning Public Order.

"The affordable PMKS was immediately taken by officers and handed over to the Kedoya Social Institution for guidance," he added.

During the screening in Kembangan, a number of "Pak Ogah" were seen fighting against officers and trying to escape.

One of them even escaped from the arrest of officers. After being arrested, they were immediately transported to the Kedoya Social Service Office to be recorded and given guidance.

Until this news was published, the number of PMKS that had been caught from eight sub-districts in West Jakarta was not yet known.
