JAKARTA - The Asia Africa Conference Museum (MKAA) located on Jalan Asia Afrika, Braga, Bandung, West Java held a temporary exhibition entitled "The Power of the Word in KAA: Committee Session Sketsa" in order to interpret 70 years of the 1955 Asian Africa Conference (KAA) and 45 years of the KAA Museum.
For the first time, MKAA held an exhibition regarding the Committee's Session in KAA. At this exhibition, the public can view the archives and brief recordings of committee hearings, read excerpts from 29 participating countries, and deliver their messages.
Plt. The Director General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Umar Hadi, emphasized the strength of the meaning of a word, at the opening of Monday's exhibition.
"The founders of the Indonesian nation chose the word 'state' in the text of the proclamation of independence of the Indonesian nation to show that the statement of independence is the right of a nation, which does not require the approval of other nations," he explained, launching a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tuesday, July 8.
