"To avoid this action, ICW hopes that the KPK will check CCTV in every place that wants to be searched," said Yassar in a written statement quoted on Friday, July 4.
Yassar also asked the KPK not only to search the suspect's office and house. Investigators must move to other locations and target people affiliated with the five suspects.
"Given that the mode of corruption of procurement projects is often complex and involves many actors from across sectors," he said.
As previously reported, the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in the North Sumatra region on Thursday, June 26. It is suspected that money was given in the road construction project in the province.
