JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung responded to the use of padel sports facilities which were taxed at 10 percent.
Pramono's social media account was flooded with tags and mentions from netizens over a viral post regarding the imposition of the tax. Before going viral, Pramono admitted that he did not know that the padel facilities were taxed.
"So I myself have never known about the sport of padel being collected by 10 percent tax, the excitement is half dead. The Sda which then went viral and was sent to me or to my Instagram story," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, July 3.
So far, Pramono admits that he has not issued any decisions regarding the imposition of taxes on the padel field.
"I myself have not signed and do not know about it," he said.

Lusiana explained that the sport of play and fitness by using places/rooms and/or equipment that are rented out or subject to payment is one of the objects of PBJT for arts and entertainment services.

Bapenda has determined the padel field to be one of the sports of the game which is the object of PBJT for arts and entertainment services.
