JAKARTA - The police are investigating 6 nasty same-sex video recordings by the suspect MR (27), a soap opera artist with his girlfriend with the initials IMT (33). The video is part of an alleged extortion case committed by MR, a soap opera artist.

"Six short videos of same-sex intercourse between the victim and the alleged perpetrator were confiscated," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

In addition to video recordings, the police also confiscated two cellphones and an ATM belonging to the perpetrator. From the confession of the suspect MR, he carried out the extortion because he was jealous.

"The victim and the alleged perpetrator previously had a same-sex relationship. Several times had same-sex intercourse," he said.

In addition, the perpetrator was also jealous of the victim because the victim was suspected of having a relationship with another man. On this basis, the perpetrator was annoyed and finally forced to ask for some money while threatening the victim.

The perpetrator threatened the victim if she would spread their intimate video to the public.

Previously, it was reported that MR, a male soap opera artist, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cempaka Putih Police after extorting his girlfriend, who is a same-sex couple, with a value of Rp. 20 million.

The suspect was arrested at an boarding house in the Harjamukti area, Depok, West Java.
