Policed By Wife, Former South OKU Secretary Becomes Suspect In Licensing Case

PALEMBANG - The former Secretary of the South OKU DPRD with the initials JA and his alleged affair with the initials MZ was officially named a suspect by the Palembang Police Criminal Investigation Unit (PPA) investigator.

Kasatreskrim Polrestabes Palembang AKBP Andrie Setiawan said the two were named suspects in the case of adultery after being reported by JA's legal wife with the initials YR.

"The reported person with the initials JA and MZ has the status of suspects. For the article applied to Article 284 of the Criminal Code concerning adultery," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 2.

He explained that the determination of the suspect was carried out after investigators carried out a series of examinations and case titles. Both were caught while in an indecost in the Demang Lebar Daun area, Ilir Barat I, Palembang.

"Evidence shows that there are several clothes owned by the suspects, bed sheets and others found in the room," he explained.

In addition to examining the suspect, the police also examined several witnesses in this case. He also said that he already had enough evidence to determine the status of a suspect based on the examination of the Forensic Laboratory of the South Sumatra Police.

"The results of the Forensic Laboratory are also supporting the fulfillment of criminal elements," said Andrie.
