JAKARTA - United States (US) President Donald Trump does not believe enriched uranium at Iran's facility had been removed prior to last weekend's US attack.

"They didn't have the chance to get rid of anything, because we acted quickly. If it would take two weeks, maybe. But it is very difficult to get rid of such material, it is very difficult and very dangerous for them to get rid of it," Trump said at the NATO summit, The Hague, Netherlands. reported by CNN, Wednesday, June 25.

"In addition they knew we were coming, and if they knew we were coming, they wouldn't be there," Trump continued.

Some preliminary assessments have raised questions about whether the US destroys most of the enriched nuclear material.

Trump said Iran would not agree to a ceasefire with Israel if the attack did not succeed.

"This is a devastating attack, and it makes them confused, and you know, otherwise they will not make peace," Trump said.

Trump has not ruled out further attacks on Iran if it rebuilds its nuclear program, but says it is an unlikely scenario.

"I don't have to worry about that," he said.

"It's been years, it's very difficult to rebuild it, because everything has collapsed," said the US President.

As previously reported, the Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi was unable to confirm the presence of Iranian nuclear material supplies approaching the quality of weapons.

Grossi urged supervisors to be allowed back safely to the country to "assess the situation."

In an interview with CNN, Grossi said Iran had stored about 400 kilograms (880 pounds) of enriched uranium up to 60%, not far from the 90% enrichment needed to make nuclear weapons.

"Iran has no secret that they have protected this material," Grossi said.

Speaking to the United Nations nuclear watchdog board on Monday, June 23, Grossi said investigators should be able to return to Iran's nuclear site and calculate uranium supplies.

"Including, the most important, 400 kilograms enriched to 60%," he said.

The IAEA watchdog last saw the supplies on June 10, three days before Israel attacked Iran by targeting the country's nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz.

The United States joined the Israeli offensive on Sunday, June 22 attacking both sites and Fordow's enrichment plant, which is buried deep inside the mountain.
