BSU Already Disbursed For 2.45 Million Workers

JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli stated that wage subsidy assistance (BSU) in phase I had been distributed to 2,450,068 workers per day, Tuesday (24/6) out of a total of 3,697,836 recipients.

The Minister of Manpower explained that the distribution process was carried out through Himbara banks, namely BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri, while for BSI specifically for BSU recipients who live in Aceh, with a subsidy value of Rp600 thousand per worker.

"The remaining 1,247,768 are still in process," he said.

He conveyed, for the distribution of Phase II BSU, his party has received data from BPJS for employment of 4.5 million prospective recipients, and is currently in the process of verification and validation.

Yassierli explained that the BSU program is one of the five economic stimulus packages with a target recipient of 17 million workers or laborers. BSU in 2025 is given IDR 300 thousand per month per worker or laborer who is given for two months and paid at once, so that the total that will be received by each worker per worker is IDR 600 thousand.

The requirements for BSU recipients are Indonesian citizens as evidenced by NIK ownership, active participants of the employment social security program at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, with an active status until April 2025.

The next requirement is to receive a maximum salary or wage of Rp. 3,500,000 per month or the maximum amount of the district or city minimum wage, or the provincial minimum wage for districts or cities that do not stipulate it.

This BSU is excluded for state civil servants (ASN), the TNI/Polri, and is prioritized for workers or laborers who are not receiving the family hope program or PKH.

The rules related to BSU have been regulated through the Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker) No. 5 of 2025 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower No. 10 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Providing Government Assistance in the Form of Salary/Wage Subsidies for Workers/Laborers.
