NTB Police Examine Kompol Y Suspect In Death Case Brigadier Nurhadi

West Nusa Tenggara Police investigated Kompol Y, one of the suspects in the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi at an inn in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok Regency.

The examination of the former NTB Police Propam Division official was observed in the Sub-Directorate II Room for Crime and Violence at the NTB Police General Criminal Investigation, Mataram City, Monday, June 23.

The Director of Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Syarif Hidayat, has not provided any information regarding the examination.

Meanwhile, Suhartono, Kompol Y's attorney, confirmed that he and his team had just finished accompanying Kompol Y's investigation in front of investigators.

"Yes, that's right. It's just finished. From ten o'clock this morning, it's just finished (the examination)," said Suhartono.

Dalam lima jam pemeriksaan, jelas dia, ada 31 pertanyaan yang dilayangkan penyidik kepada Kompol Y.

Regarding the question material that was asked to his client, Suhartono refused to answer, considering that this was already under the authority of the investigator.

"Essentially, our clients are very cooperative, all answered smoothly. In it he (Kompol Y) had explained to investigators what happened, we submitted the assessment to investigators," he said.

Suhartono hopes that through the investigation of this case, the real cause of Brigadier Nurhadi's death can be revealed.

"I think many parties have an interest in this case, especially what caused the death of the deceased. Hopefully, with this investigation, everything can become clear, because the investigation is actually looking for it, who will be the culprits will all be visible," he said.

Apart from Kompol Y, the suspect in this case has the initials Ipda HC and a woman with the initials M. For the role of suspect M, the police have not revealed this.

However, two officers, namely Kompol Y and Ipda HC, were named as suspects suspected of violating Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution and Article 359 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence.

One of the pieces of evidence that corroborates the determination of the member of the National Police as a suspect is the result of the exhumation of the tomb from the body of Brigadier Nurhadi. As a result, there were signs of violence that caused Brigadier Nurhadi's death.

Prior to his suspect status, the NTB Police through the Police Code of Ethics Commission trial which was held on Tuesday (27/5) in the courtroom for Propam Polda NTB had decided the sanctions for dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) against the two suspects.

The ethics panel stated that both of them violated the cumulative article, namely Article 11 paragraph (2) letter b and Article 13 letter e and f of the Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics and Article 13 paragraph (1) PP Number 1 of 2003 concerning the Dismissal of Police Members.
