Special Jakarta, Transjakarta, MRT, And LRT Jakarta Anniversary With A Rate Of IDR 22 June

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government's public transportation services, namely Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta, have special rates for the 498th anniversary of Jakarta City. On June 22, the three public transportation rates will have a tariff of IDR 1.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the special tariff for Jakarta's anniversary is valid for 24 hours from 00.00 WIB to 23.59 WIB.

"The tariff-fixing policy of IDR 1 is also supported by an extension of operating hours on a number of routes, especially to support the mobility of residents in the celebration of the peak night of Jakarta's anniversary," said Syafrin in his statement, Thursday, June 19.

In addition to the main service, Syafrin surprised that Microtrans, Transjakarta Cares, and other Transjakarta services, which already have a zero rupiah tariff, will continue to operate as usual without changing tariff policies.

This decision was taken based on a number of regional regulations, including Regional Regulations and Governor Regulations that regulate the mass transportation system in Jakarta, as well as the successful experience of implementing special tariffs and adding previous service operations.

"The determination of special tariffs and the addition of operating hours are a form of appreciation to people who have used public transportation, as well as encouraging more and more residents to switch from private vehicles to mass public transportation," he said.

On that occasion, Syafrin invited all Jakartans to celebrate the city's birthday in an environmentally friendly, efficient and comfortable way.

"We hope that this service can be enjoyed optimally by all residents," said Syafrin.

More specifically, the addition of operating hours is carried out specifically on:- Transjakarta: routes that serve the location of the Jakarta anniversary peak night celebration will be extended until 01.00 WIB on June 23, 2025.

- MRT Jakarta: will operate longer than 05.00 WIB from June 22 to 01.00 WIB on June 23, 2025.

- Jakarta LRT: full operation for June 22.
