Perpetrators Of Breast Robbery At Dayeuhkolot Bandung Arrested By Police

Bandung City Police (Polresta) arrested a man with the initials Y, the perpetrator of breast robbery against a woman in the Dayeuhkolot area, Bandung Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (11/6).

The Head of the Dayeuhkolot Police, AKP Triyono, explained that the incident occurred when the victim was walking with his friend on the side of the road.

"It happened that when the victim was walking on the side with her friend, the two of them, suddenly behind a public transportation passed by. Incidentally, it was suspected that the perpetrator was in the angkot," said Triyono as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 12.

Victims who felt harassed had recorded the video of the incident and shared it on Instagram social media. The video then went viral and caught the attention of the public and the police.

After seeing the video, we immediately conducted a search. It is known that the perpetrator lives in the Pameumpeuk area. We went to his house and managed to secure the perpetrator at around 19.30 WIB in the evening," he said.

He revealed that when he was arrested, the perpetrator was at his house and was immediately taken to the Dayeuhkolot Police Station for initial questioning accompanied by his family.

Furthermore, this case was handled by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Bandung Police Satreskrim.

"Temporary information, the perpetrator is suspected of having a mental disorder. However, this is still under investigation and will be further confirmed by the authorities through medical examination," he said.
