Husband In Dompu Kills His Wife Because Of Shame He Has A Lot Of Debt

A man with the initials SYA (30) in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara is suspected of killing his wife with the initials SRI (28) because he is ashamed of the condition of the victim who has a lot of debt.

"From the results of the interim investigation, it was revealed that the motive for the sadistic act was allegedly because the perpetrator felt embarrassed and depressed, because the victim (his wife) had a lot of debt and was often the subject of gossip and humiliated the family's good name," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Dompu Police, AKP Zuharis, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 9.

The motive revealed from the results of this temporary investigation is still in the process of being investigated by looking at the psychological background and triggering acts of violence in the household.

AKP Zuharis said the handling of this alleged murder case was under the control of the Dompu Police Satreskrim. The police have carried out security against SYA who was arrested on Saturday (7/6) at his parents' house in the Pajo area, Dompu Regency.

SYA was caught after members followed up on the victim's family's report after finding SRI was dead in his house covered in blood.

"So, the suspect fled after the incident. However, thanks to his quick work and solid coordination, the perpetrator was finally arrested in the Pajo area a few hours after the incident," he said.

The police also confiscated evidence of a sharp machete type weapon that was strongly suspected of being used by the perpetrators in the violence.
