Hayono Isman's House Is Guarded By Police, Attorneys And Colleagues Suspected As A Form Of Terror

JAKARTA - Kolega former Menpora and DPR-RI member Hayono Isman, Widodo admitted that he was surprised in front of Hayono Isman's residence in East Kemang, that he had been fenced up and guarded by a number of police officers. Widodo, who last year met Hayono Isman, does not believe the house was now closed and supervised by many police during a visit last Thursday (29/6).

"Seriously, I am very surprised. All I know is that this house is where Mr. Hayono Isman lives. I was very surprised, suddenly in front of his house there was a high fence and many police officers. I was even surprised when I was asked for an ID card (by the police). Even though this is my friend's house and mentor at KORMI and IKAL Lemhannas RI. This is the first time, Mr. Hayono was asked to visit Mr. Hayono's house and there was this rather excessive police guard," he said in a statement to the media crew, Saturday (7/6) morning.

Widodo also just found out from the police's explanation that their presence was closely related to the dispute over ownership of the house occupied by Hayono Isman. Even though to his knowledge, the house still belonged to his colleague and had not changed hands. He also wondered why there were parties who dared to take arrogant actions to prevent guests and Hayono Isman's family from staying in touch at his house.

Mr. Hayono Isman's house is guarded by the police. Even though Mr. Hayono never asked these police officers to be here. Is this a form of terror against Mr. Hayono Isman and his family? If there is a dispute over ownership of the house, how come it is carried out in ways that are less civilized like this. Using (officials) Police again...?, " asked Widodo.

Widodo did not receive any clarity on the reasons for the presence of a number of police officers there. Even though Widodo had direct communication with these police officers, unfortunately there was no clear answer to the reason for the police at Hayono Isman's house.

"I asked what is the basis for asking me to leave Pak Hayono's yard. Until I returned home, these police officers could not show their letters and needs to be there. I am surprised that the police from the Brimob unit, ordered by whom? Cooking to serve at Hayono Isman's house without a definite legal basis," he stressed.

According to Hayono Isman's attorney, advocate VictorRM Sohilait, his client's house allegedly wanted to be taken forcibly by someone who claimed to have ownership of the house. In fact, until now, the house is still in the process of being purchased by Hayono Isman.

"Legal facts, the object of land and building is still in the process of purchasing our client (Hayono Isman). On this basis, we also made legal remedies by filing a Law Against Law (PMH) Lawsuit (PMH) at the East Jakarta District Court and has been registered with No. Case : 245 / Pdt. G / 2025 / PN. JkT. TIM. dated May 6, 2025 yesterday, the case was already in the ongoing trial process. So legally, the object of the land & building should not be disturbed or closed access for our client to enter and leave the house. The object should also not be guarded by elements suspected uniformed police officers who do not have an official assignment letter from their unit or illegal," said Victor.

Victor also appealed to all parties to obey and comply with legal provisions until the issuance of a court decision that has permanent legal force or inkrah. Including, he said, no parties should claim ownership of the land by using police officers for intimidating purposes.

"The action of using these police officers is very detrimental to our client or any of our relatives who wish to stay in touch with our client's house. On that basis, we protested and firmly rejected these actions using a number of police officers," he said.
