The latest survey conducted by the Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) in May 2025 revealed that the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian National Army (TNI) occupy the top position as the state institution most trusted by the public.
This finding was conveyed by the Executive Director of the IPO, Dedi Kurnia Syah, in an official release received by ANTARA, Sunday, June 1.
According to Dedi, the level of public trust in state and civil institutions in general has not changed significantly. The President and TNI remain consistently in the top position as the highest confidence-level institutions.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, political parties, the General Election Commission (KPU), and the House of Representatives (DPR RI) are listed as three institutions with the lowest level of public trust out of a total of 15 institutions surveyed.
Other institutions such as Basarnas, the Attorney General's Office, the Constitutional Court, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are in the middle position on the list of trust levels.
The survey also noted that the level of public satisfaction with President Prabowo Subianto's performance reached 81 percent. Of these, 13 percent of respondents said they were very satisfied, 46 percent satisfied, and 22 percent quite satisfied. Meanwhile, 15 percent said they were dissatisfied, and the other 4 percent were very dissatisfied.

Dedi stated that the satisfaction rate is a strong indicator that people still have high confidence and hopes for President Prabowo's leadership, even though challenges in the economic field and job creation still need to be the government's main focus.
This national survey was conducted from 22 to 28 May 2025 involving 1,200 respondents from various regions in Indonesia. Sampling was carried out through a multistage random sampling method to ensure an even representation, with a margin of error of around 2.90 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
