Deputy Governor Ingkong Ala Supports DLP 2025 Optimal Utilization

TARAKAN - Deputy Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Ingkong Ala, opened the Dissemination of the North Kalimantan Province Economic Report in the first quarter of the Meeting Room of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Kaltara Province, Wednesday, May 28.

This activity was attended by various parties, including local governments, SOEs, media, academics, and students.

In his remarks, Deputy Governor Ingkong Ala hoped that provincial economic reports could be utilized optimally, not only as material for academic studies, but also as a basis for formulating policies that favor the community, are oriented towards sustainability, and adaptive to global dynamics.

"This kind of dissemination forum becomes very important as a space for sharing information, bringing together perspectives, and formulating joint solutions," said Deputy Governor Ingkong.

"We appreciate the Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office of Kaltara Province which consistently compiles and publishes the Kaltara Province's economic reports as a credible and comprehensive reference," he added.

Dissemination of the North Kalimantan Provincial Financial Statements this time raised the theme The Kaltara Economy in the Middle of the Trade War, Navigating Sustainable Growing Opportunities.

Deputy Governor ingkong emphasized that the global challenges faced in recent years are indeed not light, including trade tariff wars between major countries, global supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical uncertainty.

"However, we believe that in the midst of challenges there will always be opportunities, especially with the strategic position of Kaltara as a border province with the opportunity to navigate this momentum to grow sustainably," said Ingkong.

He added that the Kaltara Provincial Government is committed to realizing sustainable and equitable economic growth and continuing to strive to improve the quality of basic infrastructure and regional connectivity, support for MSMEs, and the development of green industrial areas.

"By understanding global dynamics and taking advantage of existing opportunities, we can achieve sustainable economic growth," he concluded. (ADV)
