JAKARTA - A thug who controls a motorbike parking lot in front of Indomaret, Jalan Haji Yahya, Bidara Cina area, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, is in critical condition after being slashed by a machete by a colleague.

The stabbing was carried out by a gang of perpetrators fighting over a parking lot. The victim is known to have the initials LH, while the main perpetrator has the initials RR. LH is a local resident.

"The perpetrators and the victims know each other, they manage the parking lot at Indomaret on Jalan Haji Yahya, Bidara Cina, Jatinegara," said Jatinegara Police Chief, Commissioner Samsono to reporters, Tuesday, May 27.

However, because the victim LH felt born and raised in the area, LH took the initiative to control the parking lot. Of course, RR did not accept LH's statement. Even though they are close friends.

"The perpetrator with the initials RR came to the victim with the initials LH with his friend with a motorbike. The perpetrator came with a machete, immediately stabbed the victim on the left cheek," he said.

After a commotion between LH and RS, another perpetrator with the initials ES also came to the scene.

The man with the initials ES is a friend of the main suspect with the initials RR. After meeting with LH, the other perpetrator with the initials ES also slashed the victim LH again.

"The perpetrator with the initials ES brought a knife and immediately slashed the victim's right back, the victim then ran away. But the victim was chased by the perpetrator until he finally fell," he said.

After the victim fell, the perpetrators RR and ES again slashed the victim until he suffered injuries all over his body.

"The victim was stabbed again on the forehead and left cheek. On the forehead he received 5 stitches and 10 stitches on the left cheek. The motive was fighting over the parking lot," he said.

As a result of the incident, the victim reported it to the Jatinegara Police, East Jakarta.

The victim made a report to the Jatinegara Police. Furthermore, the perpetrator with the initials RS was arrested at the scene at the same time as the operation to eradicate Jaya.

"The suspect is a thug, not related to mass organizations," he said.

Meanwhile, according to the suspect RR's confession, he had the heart to slash his colleague due to the problem of the parking lot.

From his statement to the police, the suspect admitted to getting a turnover from a gross parking lot of Rp. 600 thousand. In addition, the suspect also received deposits from all street vendors in front of Indomaret of Rp. 2 million.

As a result of his actions, suspect RR was charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code. The police confiscated evidence of a sharp weapon of the type of machete.
