JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas of Jakarta will experience light to moderate rain on Monday, May 26, from morning to night.

According to information submitted through its official website, light rain is expected to occur in the areas of Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta in the morning. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands region has the potential to experience rain accompanied by lightning.

Entering the afternoon, the skies of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are expected to be thick cloudy. At the same time, the areas of North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta still have the potential for light rain.

In the afternoon, light to moderate rain is predicted to be evenly distributed throughout the DKI Jakarta area.

Based on a report quoted from Antara, light rain conditions are expected to continue until the evening. The Thousand Islands is again said to have the potential to experience rain accompanied by lightning.

BMKG also noted that the air temperature in the Jakarta area today is estimated to be in the range of 24 to 28 degrees Celsius.
