On this occasion, Foreign Minister Sugino also expressed full support for Malaysia's various initiatives as chairman of ASEAN this year, in facilitating the process of resolving internal conflicts peacefully in Myanmar, as well as Indonesia's readiness to continue to actively contribute to the restoration of democracy and Myanmar's stability.

"ASEAN's strength lies in its unity. In facing the Myanmar crisis, we must speak in one voice and act with one goal to encourage the full implementation of the 5PC," said Foreign Minister Sugiono.
