JAKARTA - Emirates airlines have increased the number of trips to welcome the Hajj and Eid al-Adha season in 2025.
Dubai-based airline United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced 33 special flights to Jeddah and Medina operating until May 31 and between June 10 and 16, to support thousands of worshipers traveling to Makkah.
The airline said it would transport nearly 32,000 Hajj passengers over the next three weeks from around the world, including from the US, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand and Ivory Coast, quoted from The National May 23.
As for Eid al-Adha, Emirates will also operate 13 more flights to and from regional destinations including Amman, Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain to meet high demand when people travel for long holidays.
Emirates also made special arrangements for pilgrims. The airline formed a special airport team to guide pilgrims during arrivals, transits and hotel transfers in Dubai.
On board, the airline has also added a hajj baggage label and introduced Hajj equipment consisting of prayer mats, prayer beads, silicon water bottles to socks.
