JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi assessed that the security assistance provided by the TNI to the Prosecutor's Office was a form of ordinary cooperation and the cooperation was not made in the context of an emergency.
"The state institutions can work together, they can (form) each other's MoU," Hasan Nasbi said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 17.
Hasan explained that the Prosecutor's Office also has military-related coverage, namely the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes (Jampidmil) which allows cooperation in various sectors between the Prosecutor's Office and the TNI.
"This is not like an emergency (which) is then fully armed TNI to guard the demonstration at the Prosecutor's Office. This is an MoU for security within the Prosecutor's Office and this is normal," Hasan said.
The TNI and the Attorney General's Office formed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation number NK/6/IV/2023/TNI dated April 6, 2023. Following the MoU, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto issued telegram Number TR/422/2025 on May 5, 2025.

From the order of the Commander in Chief, the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak then followed up by issuing a telegram number ST/1192/2025 on May 6, 2025.
