MAKASSAR - The Provincial Government of South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi Provincial Government) has taken firm steps against six nightclubs (THM) and a hotel that has been proven to have violated the licensing provisions in Makassar City in the form of sealing and giving direct warnings.
The six sealed THMs are Venn, Helens, HW Tiger, Elite, Exodus, and Ibiza. Meanwhile, one hotel, namely Hotel Melia Makassar, received warnings and guidance because its activities were deemed not in accordance with the permit.
Head of the Civil Service Police Unit of South Sulawesi Province Andi Arwin Azis explained that this firm action was taken after going through a series of coaching and examination processes by Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS). The sealing after the warning procedure was carried out.

"There we found from the public report that previously existed, it turned out that there was DJ equipment that had been there. It was brought by the person who rented the place and it was only one event at that time. We gave a warning not to do it again because the permit was only a restaurant permit, there was no bar and disco permit," he said.
