MXGP Circuit Land Case, Former East Lombok Regent Examined By The NTB Prosecutor's Office

NTB - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) examined the former East Lombok Regent M. Ali Bin Dachlan alias Ali BD.

The former Regent of East Lombok was examined as a witness regarding the case of purchasing his land covering an area of 70 hectares by the Sumbawa Regency Government (Pemkab) in the Samota tourist area which is now the area of the Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) circuit.

"Yes, that's right. The person concerned is being examined as a witness," said Uuru talking about the NTB Attorney General's Office Efrien Saputera in Mataram, NTB, Tuesday, May 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ali BD arrived at the NTB Prosecutor's Office Building at around 08.00 WITA. The inspection was completed at around 11.30 WITA.

When met by reporters, Ali BD confirmed that he was undergoing examination as a witness in the case.

"The previous one was exactly (questioned) the same, so it was retyped because of the same question. We are sellers, not buyers," said Ali BD.

He said the process of buying and selling the land had been carried out according to procedures. Ali BD admitted that his land, which was purchased by the regional government covering an area of 70 hectares, was paid Rp53 billion.

"One hundred percent are right on procedures because there is an appraisal. I received Rp32 billion, the rest are children,' three names (land owners)," he said.

Regarding the existence of consignments or land compensation entrusted to the court, Ali BD confirmed this.

"Yes, that's right. Leave it in court because someone sued after the (perdata) decision," he said.

He said his 70 hectares of land was sold, consisting of several certificates. The selling price also depends on the location according to the results of the appraisal team's assessment.

"The area we sell is 70 hectares. (The price) is various, some are Rp. 300 million, there is Rp. 400 million," he said.

For information on a civil lawsuit that is still in the cassation stage at the Supreme Court with the name of his plaintiff, Ali BD stated that the dispute was outside the 70 hectare land.

"The difference between 70 hectares and a civil lawsuit, the 15 hectares were sued. Now the 507 certificate cassation stage," he said.
