MAJALENGKA - Majalengka Resort Police, West Java, revealed a case of alleged abuse by a student with the initials APA (21) against her lover that resulted in the victim's death in Lengkong Village, Sindangwangi District.

Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Willy Andrian said the alleged abuse case was revealed after a report from Majalengka Hospital regarding the arrival of a woman carrying the body of a man on Saturday (3/5).

"From the results of the investigation, the victim was found to have experienced physical violence before he died. We have named the perpetrator as a suspect today," said Willy as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 5.

He explained that the 22-year-old victim was picked up on Tuesday (30/4), then taken to the suspect APA's house in Lengkong Village, Majalengka.

When the victim stated that she wanted to return to her parents' house the next day, suspect APA was suspected of being emotional and immediately committing violence.

"The suspect hit the victim's face with his bare hands and also with a cell phone," said the Police Chief.

As a result of this action, said Willy, the victim suffered serious injuries to the face and shortness of breath and eventually died

He also said the victim was locked up for three days in the suspect's room in a weak condition.

In addition, the victim was not allowed to leave, even to defecate using only bottles and diapers provided by the suspect.

"During that time the victim was only fed by the perpetrator. When the perpetrator left the house, the victim's room was locked from the outside so that the suspect's parents would not know," he said.

Willy said that from a temporary confession, the perpetrator did not want the victim to go home because he felt he had been treating him for a year.

"They were in a special relationship for three years," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Majalengka Police Satreskrim AKP Ari Rinaldo said the victim was declared dead on Saturday (3/5) at around 16.30 WIB.

The suspect, who panicked, then asked his friend with the initials TD to take the victim's body to the hospital.

"The victim's body was placed in the trunk of the car until he was finally taken to the hospital. There was a desire from the perpetrator to dispose of the body," he said.

From the autopsy results, a number of wounds were found on the victim's face and body which led to acts of violence.

Investigators also ensured that the victim did not fight back because he was in an unhealthy condition at the time of the incident.

"The suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding the murder of Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution that resulted in death," he said.
