TANGERANG A man named Firdaus alias Willy (40) was arrested by the police for allegedly killing his own brother, Narun (60), on Jalan Masjid Darussalam, Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel).

"It's true, the perpetrator F alias Willy has been arrested," said the Head of the Pamulang Police, Kompol Widya Agustiono, when confirmed on Friday, May 2.

After the arrest, the Pamulang Police Headquarters held a pre-reconstruction at the scene. The activity featured a number of scenes and attracted the attention of dozens of local residents.

Pre-reconstruction began in front of a building shop, the starting place for the dispute between the perpetrator and the victim. In that incident, the victim had given resistance using a wooden block, while the perpetrator attacked with a sharp sickle.

Narun then ran towards the grocery store which was the last place before he breathed his last. He suffered severe injuries to the neck and back of the shoulder.

When asked further about the arrest and pre-reconstruction, Kompol Widya was reluctant to provide more detailed information, because the case had been transferred to the South Tangerang Police.

"Ask the Resort Police. (The perpetrator) is handled at the South Tangerang Police," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pamulang Police, AKP Fathurroji, stated that the evidence in the form of sickles used by the perpetrators had been secured. Currently, the perpetrators and evidence have been handed over to the South Tangerang Police for further investigation.

"Evidence has been secured," he said briefly.

Allegedly Due to Previous Heritage Problems, Narun (60) was found dead covered in blood on Jalan Masjid Darussalam, Pamulang, on Wednesday (30/4) at around 10.30 WIB. He was allegedly killed by his own younger brother, Firdaus alias Willy (40), due to inheritance problems.

According to one of the eyewitnesses, Jeffry, the victim suffered serious injuries to the neck due to slashing of a sickle. Blood splashes were seen around a gallon of mineral water in front of a shop near the scene.

"The wound was on the neck, stabbed with a sickle. It was suspected that it was due to an old grudge about the inheritance," said Jeffry.
