JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that searches in a number of locations in West Kalimantan are based on an investigation warrant (sprindik). There is already a suspect's name in it even though it has not been detailed.

"(The search, red) is not (with, red) public sprinklers," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement quoted Monday, April 28.

The anti-corruption commission is known to have issued generalized sprindik several times to deal with alleged riots. This kind of regulation is usually issued without naming a suspect first.
