President Prabowo Meets Emir Qatar, Investment With Danantara Ready To Be Realized

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto continued his working visit to Qatar during a series of working visits to the Middle East. Previously, President Prabowo made a visit to Egypt. Prabowo Subianto then held a meeting with Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani at Amiri Palace, Diwan Sunday, April 13.

During the meeting there was an important decision, namely Qatar will carry out investment cooperation with the Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara Indonesia) amounting to USD2 billion or around Rp. 33.5 trillion.

CEO of Danantara Rosan Roeslani and Minister of Housing and People's Settlements Maruarar Sirait also participated in President Prabowo's entourage. The commitment related to Danantara's cooperation with Qatar is a follow-up to Indonesia's economic diplomacy efforts, as well as a positive signal from Qatar for closer cooperation.
