TANJUNG SELOR - Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives of North Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Riyanto and a number of Bulungan council members conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at the Tanjung Selor Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Regional Hospital (RSDSS).
"This inspection is to follow up on a number of complaints from residents regarding this hospital service, especially regarding its services," said Riyanto, Tuesday, April 8.
"From the results of this inspection, there are several things that are of concern and input from the DPRD which will be submitted to the hospital owned by the Bulungan Regency Government (Pemkab)," he continued.
The visit, which was carried out on the first day of work after the Eid holiday, was a follow-up or responded to public complaints about services at the Tanjung Selor Hospital.
"One of them, which was viral some time ago. From that, we want to check directly here (RSDSS)," said Riyanto accompanied by members of the Bulungan DPRD, including Ramli, Rozana Bin Serang, Ilhamsyah, and several others.
Meanwhile, from the hospital, he directly accompanied the director of RSDSS Tanjung Selor, Dr. H Widodo Darmo Sentono SpJP.
"We have traveled to several rooms and received an explanation by the hospital there are several things that are of concern to us DPRD. But so far the service has been quite good. It's just that there are still a few things that need to be improved again," he explained.
In addition, his party has also received an explanation from the hospital regarding a viral video about services some time ago.
"The problem is good communication rates, the hospital has provided services according to the SOP (standard service operations). This is because of the BPJS problem. Which ones receive BPJS services which are not," he said.
Therefore, the DPRD will follow up by facilitating joint discussions, by presenting hospitals, local governments and BPJS.
"There are additional facilities and medical devices (alkes) that can improve service quality.
In fact, to increase the type from C to type B, it is appropriate. Currently what needs to be paid attention is the readiness of the human resources," he said.
Several service rooms are reviewed in this inspection. Among them are the operating room, MRI room, to several inpatient rooms.
"Some rooms do need improvement. Like there is a treatment room that still uses the old building," he said.
The DPRD, he stressed, is ready to support local governments, for the purpose of improving facilities at the Tanjung Selor RSDSS. Including funding support.
"We really support health issues. It will definitely be a priority," he said.
Separately, the Director of the Tanjung Selor RSDSS, Dr. Widodo, expressed his gratitude for the visit of DPRD members. What is noted, the input submitted, will be the attention of his party.
