JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR RI, Then Hadrian Irfani appreciated the success of the Indonesian U-17 national team who won against Yemen with a final score of 4-1. He assessed that this victory could be an inspiration for the Senior National Team to be able to wipe out the remaining matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match.

"We congratulate the U-17 national team who managed to beat Yemen and qualify for the U-17 World Cup," said Lalu Ari, Tuesday, April 8.

According to him, the success of the U-17 national team must be appreciated. Because the young Garuda team has tried hard to give the best results and make the Indonesian people proud on the world stage.

"They really have given the best for this nation. So, we must appreciate that success," he said.

The PKB legislator from the NTB electoral district stated that the U-17 national team and the entire coaching team had proven that the strength of the Indonesian national team was equal to strong countries in the field of football.

"This success is proof that we are already on par with countries that are strong in football," he said.

He said that the coaching of young footballers carried out by the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) in carrying out its roadmap had begun to be seen. He hopes that this victory will be a good start for the advancement of Indonesian football in the future.

"Hopefully this success can also be followed by our senior national team, entering the 2026 World Cup," said Lalu Ari.

Then Ari added, the future of Indonesian football has begun to be seen in the U-17 national team. His party also encouraged PSSI to continue to provide guidance to young players.

"PSSI must work harder to provide guidance to our young players," concluded Lalu Ari.
