Police Arrested Perpetrators Of Obscenity Of 16 Children In South Sulawesi

JAKARTA - The General Criminal and Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Pinrang Police arrested a teenager with the initials S (16) who is suspected of molesting 16 children in Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi.

"We have secured (the perpetrator). This was revealed after one of the victims reported. Currently there are 16 victims," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pinrang Police, Inspector One (Iptu) Andi Reza Pahlawan, quoting ANTARA, Friday, March 28.

At that time, one of the children accompanied by his parents reported the perpetrator for his alleged molestation in the victim's vital organs. The victim when examined said he was sick in his rectum.

Based on the victim's report, the Satreskrim team immediately conducted an investigation and development of the report until they finally arrested the perpetrator at his home, Pinrang Regency. According to the perpetrator's statement, the action had been going on for a long time with the child victims around his house.

"So, this perpetrator is still a student, sitting in high school. The action was carried out from junior high school to high school to the victims," said Reza.

His actions were exposed after one of the children told his parents about the incident and admitted that his rectum was allegedly sick after being sodomized by the perpetrator.

From the perpetrator's statement, the modus operandi of committing this act is to lure the victim to be given money and lend a cellphone and take him for a walk, but in a quiet place he just carried out his depraved act.

"This perpetrator carried out his actions in quiet places, such as in the bathroom. Investigators are still investigating whether there are other possible victims," he stressed.

So far, the Women and Children Protection Team (PPA) of the Pinrang Police is still conducting further investigations, including exploring the psychology of the perpetrators, whether they have received similar treatment, including digging up other facts in the case, including providing assistance to victims.

"In the meantime, the perpetrator has been a victim of the same thing, so there is motivation to do the same thing," he explained.
