Protests Against The TNI Law, Demonstrators Damaged The Letter Of The Pancasila Gate Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives Building

JAKARTA - The demonstrators who reject the TNI Law have again carried out vandalism at the Pancasila Gate, the DPR RI Building, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, March 20.

One of the demonstrators was desperate to climb the roof of the Pancasila Gate while carrying a flag. Meanwhile, other demonstrators who were at the bottom or in front of the Pancasila Gate were seen trying to remove one of the letters "E" from the words "Pancasila Movement".

The student pulled the font ornament using a rope until finally the letter slipped and fell down. This action was greeted by applause and boisterous screams from the students who gathered in front of the Pancasila Gate.

"We knocked down the name sign of Pancasila Gate," said one student.

However, the students who were at the Pancasila Gate had not managed to knock down the gate since Thursday morning. The demonstrators then carried out various acts of vandalism in the Pancasila Gate area, the DPR RI Building.

This action was carried out by demonstrators as a form of protest against the ratification of the TNI Law.
