Garut Residents Want To Go Home Without Worry, Each Police Station Can Be Entrusted By Vehicles

The Garut Resort Police (Polres) has prepared facilities for motor vehicle storage for people who want to go home during Eid Al-Fitr at every police station in Garut Regency, West Java, as a form of Polri's services in maintaining security.

"If there are two-wheeled vehicles, we will help facilitate four-wheeled vehicles, if the police station has a parking space that is still adequate, please leave them in the police station," said Garut Police Chief, AKBP Mochamad Fajar Gemilang after visiting the Tarogong Kaler Police Station in preparation to provide vehicle storage services for travelers in Garut, Monday, April 17, confiscated by Antara.

He said the Garut Resort Police were ready to provide services to people who wanted to go home and their motorized vehicles were not brought home, so they could be placed at the police station.

The service, he said, could be used by the community from now on by first informing the officers at the police station. He conveyed the service free of charge.

"We will provide extra security to ensure the vehicles left safe, this service is free of charge for a penny," he said.

He conveyed that apart from being able to entrust motorized vehicles, the public is also welcome to report if the house is empty because it has been left homecoming for several days.

The community report, he said, would later become a note at the local police station, then the members would carry out routine patrols, especially in the houses of residents who were left homecoming.

"During the Eid holiday, Garut people who go home outside Garut can leave it, inform the police that the house they left is empty, later we will patrol the empty house," he said.

He hopes that the police service for the people who go home can provide peace and comfort in leaving their vehicles and their houses in Garut.

"It is hoped that it will reduce the concerns of residents who will leave their homes for a long time," he said.
