JAKARTA - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko reportedly visited North Korea. His visit comes after US proposals for a ceasefire in the Ukraine war in which thousands of North Korean troops have been deployed to support Russian troops.
Rudenko has been involved in improving Russia's relations with North Korea since Moscow launched a massive invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. He was also a member of the Russian delegation in peace negotiations with Ukraine at the start of the war.
