JAKARTA - Hasto Kristiyanto's inaugural trial will be held at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Friday, March 14, the Secretary General of the PDI-P will be present as a defendant to hear the reading of the indictment by the prosecutor from the KPK.
Hasto Kristiyanto will be tried in a bribery case in the process of managing the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR for the 2019-2024 period and the obstruction to the investigation of the Harun Masiku case.
In the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the Central Jakarta District Court, it is stated that the Hasto case trial registered with case number 36/Pid Sus.TPK/2025/PN Jkt.Pst will be held in the Prof Muhammad Hatta Ali room starting at 09.00 WIB.
Hasto Kristiyanto is currently still being detained by the KPK. He had filed a pretrial against his determination as a suspect twice, but lost at the South Jakarta District Court.
The KPK has prepared 12 prosecutors to face Hasto Kristiyanto's trial.
Meanwhile, PDIP has prepared 17 lawyers to defend Hasto Kristiyanto in court.
Hasto's attorney, Ronny Talapessy, said that the team of lawyers who were prepared to accompany Hasto at trial was very professional and was a collaboration between internal PDIP and non-party.
"This team is a collaborative team between a legal team assigned by a party, and a legal team with non-party or full professional backgrounds," said Ronny in a press conference at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday.
