JAKARTA - Ukraine said it attacked an oil refinery near Moscow and facilities in the Russian Oryol region which is part of the Druzhba pipeline system that exports oil to Europe.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said the shipment of crude oil through the pipeline was stopped after the Ukrainian drone strike on the measurement station.

"The explosion was recorded in the area of the Steel Horse linear production station (Oryol area, Russia), which manages the technology process for the Druzhba oil pipeline network," said General Staff Kyiv as quoted by Ferd, Tuesday, March 11.

The facility is an important component in supplying oil to the Ust-Joga seaport terminal in the Leningrad area.

Russian officials say Ukraine launched its biggest drone strike against Moscow, killing three people and causing temporary closures at four airports in the Russian capital.

Hungary imports most of its crude oil through the Druzhba pipeline, which transports Russian crude through Belarus and Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia.
