JAKARTA - The Metro Jaya Police's Food Task Force held unannounced inspections or inspections in several traditional markets in the Jakarta area regarding the distribution of Minya Kita that did not match the dose. As a result, of the 14 samples in bottle packaging, none of them met or complied with the provisions.

Dozens of MinyaKita cooking oil with one liter bottled bottles were produced by three different companies. A total of 12 to the production by the Cv Rabani Brothers, Tangerang. While the rest are produced by PT. Artha Global, Depok and the Kudus MSME Producer Cooperative

From the measurement results using takar glasses, the entire sample contains only about 795 milliliters which should be 1,000 milliliters or one liter.

"So the bottle packaging found a shortage of about 200 milliliters," he said.

In addition, at the inspection, the police also conducted a takran test on the Minyakita brand with a voucher or refill produced by CV Surya Agung, Jakarta. As a result, there was no deficiency in the dose or according to the information label.

Furthermore, said Ade, his party will investigate further regarding Minya Kita not according to the measurement produced by the three producers. Later, the suspect will be found behind the fraud.

"Investigators are looking for and collecting evidence, which with that evidence makes light of the crime that occurred and finds the suspect," said Ade.

Later, the suspect will be charged with Article 62 in conjunction with Article 8 paragraph 1 letter b and c of Law number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
